Thank you so much for giving answers. I am sorry that I was not able to give answers at the same time and I will have to visit the embassy of Japan in Sri Lanka. From this country, the MEXT scholarship is one of the best. It is accepted from many countries to apply for the MEXT scholarship and we can have 5 years of study in Japan. It would be great if someone could be so kind to give me the best way of learning Japanese in my country.

Thank you for your detailed comment. I will respond to each part of your comment. First, is the Monbusho scholarship only for undergrads? The MEXT scholarship is not only for undergrads, but also for grad students and pre-schoolers. If your goal is to attend university in Japan as a master student, you must know that in order to attend university as a master, you must first have a bachelors degree. If you do not have a bachelors degree, then there are two possible ways to go about this. You can either go for a Monbusho scholarship with a one-year preparation course to prepare for the exam, or with direct placement. In the Monbusho scholarship without the preparation course, you need to pass the three compulsory exams, English, Japanese and Math, to enter a graduate school. Also, a bachelors degree is required to enter an advanced study program. If you go with direct placement, your bachelors degree can be your second years bachelors degree, such as a bachelor of Science. If you have a high school diploma, you can enter a bachelors degree based on an average of 80%. Make sure to have good grades. If you have a bachelors degree in your home country, you should not have a problem. With the preparation course, you need to have a 3.8/4.0 English average. If you do not have an English level of 3.8/4.0, it would be hard for you to pass the exam. If you have a bachelors degree, you need to prepare for the three compulsory exams. I recommend the Cambridge advanced, JLPT N2 and Math. The Cambridge advanced is a 50-minute exam, so prepare for this. Also, the JLPT N2 is a reasonable version of the Japanese language exam. Math is a tough exam, so you have to prepare. To prepare for the MEXT exam, you must prepare the physics, chemistry and biology because they are the three compulsory subjects you will need. If you want, you can study some natural sciences such as chemistry or biology. But be warned that you will be required to pass those courses to enter into a graduate study program. Best of luck! Let me know if you have any other questions!
